Went during the period where Singaporeans could enter free. Quite a big area, and seem to get lost in that there is no 1 route to take.. you do not know to turn left or right to cover all attraction sites without needing to back track. Most parts have no shelter, except for 1 airconditioned conservatory, some house and pavilions along the way, so bring umbrella. Orchid species were large and beautiful...

If you can only visit only visit one place in Singapore, the orchid garden should be it. A true showcase of plant beauty, color and diversity it’s a place to visit again and again. The garden is set within the botanical gardens where you also have many food options as well as ponds to and open areas to sit on and enjoy being outdoors.

Take the train to the Botanical Gardens and it's literally outside the station. Gardens are magnificent but the orchids, in their own glass dome, are beautiful beyond belief. Climate controlled atmosphere provides ideal growing conditions and on a hot day one can linger for a long time admiring the floral displays and escaping the heat. Don't miss visiting this place. Food outlets are good too.

Free admission from Dec 2023 till 1 Jan 2024 for Singapore citizens. My first time to this garden and was amazed by the many beautiful special breeds of Orchids. Loved the Semcorp Cooling house the best as one can experience the view of the orchids in a simulated mountain environment.

A most excellent garden worthy of a day’s visit. There are an overwhelming number of orchids and good exotic platoons of their varieties along the journey. It was a hot day when we visited and the cool house at the end was lovely fire more reasons than the orchids! A sensational display.

It is a must visit for orchid lovers. The place is big and very reach on orchid species. I was really impressed and it took me around one hour and a half to see it all and taking a lot of photos.

We visited this special space 4 years ago and it only got better. The basic layout remained the same but they have improved the garden by adding a couple of new zones. One particular new build is the cool zone "dome". It is fully air-conditioned and houses all cold climate plants. The displays are wonderful and the walk in the chilled air is refreshing. The garden is definitely a highlight for any Singapore tour and you only need about 1.5hrs. BTW, there are a number of organised tours but the garden is quite close to the CBD so a Grab ride will give you easy and timely door-to-door access.

Amazing place to view many different types of orchids while strolling through the garden paths. Located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens (separate admission fee). Best feature - a cool house to wander through and take a break from the local heat and humidity (also filled with orchids).
